Mr. Samir Al Shabouri is a Legal Consultant at Sharq Law Firm with over twenty years of legal experience in corporate, commercial, regulatory, and litigation matters. He holds a Master’s Degree in Law and has been admitted to the Egyptian Bar Association since 2004. Prior to joining Sharq Law Firm, he served as a Legal Expert at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in the State of Qatar since 2014 and previously worked as a Senior Lawyer at the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones in Egypt.
Experience:
- Providing legal advice on all matters relating to companies listed on Qatar’s financial markets, including corporate governance rules and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Advising on company incorporation, mergers and acquisitions, conversions into publicly listed joint-stock companies, and corporate divisions, including the preparation of all related documentation and agreements. During his tenure as a Legal Expert at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, he participated in developing standard templates and procedures for conversions into publicly listed joint-stock companies, as well as all company-related procedures and regulatory requirements. He has been involved in nearly all public company conversion processes in Qatar since 2014.
