Melissa Abboud

Profile:

Ms. Melissa acquired a bachelor of laws from Notre Dame University- Lebanon, Curriculum of both the Civil and Common Law systems, Dean’s list, and a Masters Degree of Business Law from La Sagesse University- Beirut with a GPA of 3.77/4.

Melissa has completed the Certificate of “Arbitration in Construction Agreements” at the order of engineers and architects (OEA) – Beirut and is an official arbitrator as well.

She also completed the International University Programme on “Criminal law and procedure” organized by the Asser Institute, the Hague on International Criminal Law.

Experience:

Drafting claims, briefs, memoranda; and submissions of all types;

Providing legal assistance and support to the firm’s clients;

Managing clients on labor matters and drafted employment documentation, including job offer letters, employment agreements, notices, and warning letters;

Opining on matters related to Lebanese income tax and VAT Law.

Assisting lawyers in representing clients in a variety of cases such as labor disputes, civil and criminal matters, and commercial activities.
